You might wonder what a sustainable garden is, simply put, it's a garden that works in harmony with nature. There are many techniques that can improve the health of your garden and minimize any negative impact on the environment.
You can gain many benefits from a sustainable garden. Growing food you want to eat, so you are motivated to continue growing, growing economically, so that it is worthwhile and taking care of health and environmental issues are all great benefits to sustainable gardening. Not to mention the environmental benefit that the ground will continue to support growing healthy crops.
This class will talk about the growing on of your plants, companion planting, space usage, the long term benefits of double digging, mulching, water conservation and the importance of the garden journal.
