The general contractor has packed up his things and we have a beautiful building ready to serve the community. We are now awaiting National Grid to come and connect us to electricity. Without being on live power we cannot have any inspections performed, without the final inspections we cannot have people in the store buying things, and of course without people buying things we cannot pay down our bills. Sheesh! It's all a rather tangled mess as you can see.
We are as anxious, (perhaps more so) to have the doors open and welcoming all of you here as you are to be here. You have all been very patient and extremely supportive and we could never say thank-you enough.
If we get our electricity this week, (and it's already Thursday), we still won't be open by Monday the 28th. We are hoping to get everything in order by the end of next week, perhaps June 1st we will open the doors. Your prayers and well wishing are greatly appreciated during this frustrating waiting period.
