December and January are big months for us working with the Portsmouth schools. We have joined the Elmhurst Health and Wellness action team. We have also begun a cooperative effort to help kids at Portsmouth Middle School learn about eating more nutritous foods.
If you have children at PMS you may hear about our class in January covering breakfast foods. We have been asked to cover the most important meal of the day and talk about different forms of protien. Many great companies have joined our effort and are supporting us with ingredients and materials.
