Nutrition Notes
Kashi GOLEAN is very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Copper and Manganese.
Chicken is a great source of lean portien and it's low in fat. A 3oz serving has 11mg of calcium, 28mg of magnesium, 255 mg of potassium, 20 IU vitamin A and many more nutrients.
Cremini, button, and portobello mushrooms are actually very closely related. Cremini looks and tastes much like a button, but is a bit larger with a brown cap. When growth is unchecked, it becomes a portobello with more complex flavor and texture. All three are cultivated and available fresh year round. When it comes to selenium content, mushrooms surpass all other items in the produce category. Mushrooms are good sources of three essential B-vitamins: riboflavin, niacin and pantothenic acid. Mushrooms are a particularly rich source of riboflavin: one portabella mushroom takes care of nearly one-third our RDA; a serving of white or crimini mushrooms supplies one-quarter of what we need daily.
