Residue in your wine?

One of our beloved customers recently wrote us. I felt it was worth sharing with you all.

Just an FYI, from my cousin Sarah who lives in Switzerland, who is a major wealth of knowledge to me....

We just saw a documentary on French TV and this programme went into great detail about the extent of pesticide residue found in a glass of wine.  Suffice to say that I will not be drinking any wine that is not certified organic and sulfite free ever again… even the delicious wine of Buchillon!

They went on to show that when used as a weed killer in the vineyards even ROUNDUP ends up in a glass of wine! RoundUp (by the makers of Agent Orange, thank you Monsanto) is a powerful neurotoxin, causes DNA damage and is a known carcinogen.  Scandalous.  For anyone using it in your yard please take note!  Just because it’s for sale in the store does not make it safe.

So I am sending out this link to an organic and biodynamic wine maker in California.  I’ve tried their red wines and they are actually very, very good.
Have a look and take note that you can order online.
