The other day a customer came to me with a wonderful idea. She suggested we somehow provide a community board that lets people communicate either the need for a ride to the store or a generous offer to use their car for a ride share for 1, 2, 3 or more people. I thought this sounded like a fabulous idea if it could come together. It would reduce carbon emissions by carpooling, teach people to “help thy neighbor”, allow people who may not be able to get to us because of transportation issues….the benefits are endless. I am certain I could get our web designer to create a message board that allows for rideshare posts based on days of the week and blocks of time. The rest would be up to this fabulous community! We also want to remind you that we do deliver. The delivery schedule is on the web site based on where you live and all we ask is that the order be placed the day before. Other arrangements can be made if you have an exceptionally large order to place.
