Autum Pear Sundaes
8 tbsp pecan halves
2 medium ripe organic Bartlett Pears
1 1/3 cup favorite dairy or nondairy ice cream
Pure maple syrup
Ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Spread pecan halves on cookie sheet. Place sheet on middle rack in oven. Toast pecans 6 to 9 minutes, until fragrant and browned.
- 2. Meanwhile, wash pears and remove bruised spots. Halve pears and slice very thin.
- Scoop 1/3 cup ice cream onto four plates. Arrange sliced pear halves on each side of each frozen dessert, then top each with 2 tbsp toasted pecans.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with ground cinnamon.
