Trying to get young children to eat greens and more importantly raw greens can be a challenge. I have a 3 year old boy and he LOVES this recipe.
1 cup of pineapple (fresh or frozen)
1 cup of orange juice
2 cups of greens (spinach or beet greens)
Liquidize the 3 above ingredients well. You dont want any leafy bits and pour into ice pop moulds - freeze overnight and offer as a healthy snack this summer. Yes they are green but yummy and sweet and kids love them !
